| To communicate is an essential component of life. This
principle lies at the basis of the activity of our school. We try to establish connections
with those that are interested and want to get to know us, to share our experiences
mutually, to establish profitable contacts, to give a chance to our students to enrich
their knowledge and enlarge their cultural horizon.
|
| We shall dwell upon several significant aspects of our school
activity hoping that somebody may be interested in our preocupations, want to comunicate
with as, or support as in the achievement of some new projects initiated in consent with
you.
|
| The major preoccupation in the school management has been
providing for very good conditions for school activity. We have a trim, beautiful school
with parquetted classrooms, equipped laboratories and well-fitted cabinets. In 2000, we
have set up two new cabinets: the informatics cabinet and the music cabinet in which you
can find students who study different musical instruments (cottage piano, guitar).
|
| We have guided our students' activity towards study, reserch
and publication of their papers. Thus, there have been issued counteles specialty school
magazines: "Geographical Horizon", "Geographical Journal",
"Geographical-historical Collaborations", "Geographical-biological
Collaborations". Ther has also been made "The Monograph of School No. 129"
out of which many data have been selected for the school's site. All these papers are due
to Mr. Ioan Marculet and his students. There have been issued six numbers of the school
magazin "Buds" which is the work of a group of brave students under the
leadership of their teacher, Mrs.Cristina Buturca. There have been issued three
mathematics magazines elaborated by students and by their mathematics teacher, Mrs.
Valerica Nita.
|
| One of our students' performances is obtaining very good
results at school contests on objects. We have students who have obtained the first prize
on the sector, capital and on the national phase. We have been awarded a prize for the
school magazine "Geographical Journal" at the school magazine contest. In July
2000, our students prepared by the the foreman of tehnological education, Mrs. Vasilica
Cojan, have taken part in the national contest of "Artistic Artcrafts" of Sibiu
obtaining ten diplomas.
|
| Our school is represented by the school chorus lead by prof.
Octavian Tuchila and Constantin Craciun. This chorus has been requested by a record house
by "Prima" TV station. Prof. Tuchila is also the author of two educational
materials, namely audio tapes wich have been sent to many schools in Bucharest.
|
| We address not only to those who want to communicate with us,
but also to some sponsors who would be interested in supporing us to achive some
humanitarian projects because in our school there are many students who have money
difficulties and who deserve to be supported; they are worth investing in to make their
life a little bit easieer.
|
| There are many super-gifted students in our school, but the
resources are insufficient for us to deal with them in a special way in order that rhey
obtain remarkable performances. We give here as an example student Necula Tudor (necula@fx.ro), fifth grade,
who has a locomotory handicap of first rank, being always accompanied, and who has
obtained very good results and a special diploma in informatics. We regret that we do not
have the possibility to offer more to these students who deserve a supplementary support
abundantly.
|
| We are a school with a strong potential, we are willing to
enlarge our preoccupations, to improve our activity and to offer our students everything
that is new and interesting.
|
| Hoping that you will receive our message, we are looking
forward to your contacting and helping us for a true collaboration.
